The Bottom of the Q-Cup was designed to remove waste water, residual chlorine and ozone. The waste valve is located on the bottom of the Q-Cup and can be turned open.

When you make the hydrogen water, we recommend the following:
1.) If you are going to use a water bottle we recommend not to use too big of a bottle. The Q-Cup was designed for best results for water amounts of 330 ML – 500 ML for best results of hydrogen generation.

*Using bottles that are oversized may cause more water pressure to push down water through the membrane on the bottom. If that happens make sure to drain the water inside but unscrewing the bottom.

2.) Do not do hydrogen generation more than 2 times in a row, and make sure that each time the hydrogen generation is done to unscrew the bottle to release the pressure that is building up inside

Please note: The more you use the Q-Cup the membrane will activate and create better dissolved hydrogen with each use.
